The chords of this track first played in my head when I was wandering alone in the streets. It was dark and cold, I was going home and as soon as I got there, I played the chords on the piano and started developing this track.
The main feeling conveyed is melacholy, first with the longing piano chords, then with the evocative echoing guitars and the warm synth pads.
Underneath, the electronic percursion works quite on the opposite way, with precise rythms and dry sounds, representing the ordinary daily life. It almost sounds detached and uninvolved, as you distance yourself from your daily life when you painfully miss someone.
